This SG features the classic symmetrical flat-topped double-horned Mahogany body matched by a comfortable SlimTaper Mahogany neck with a smooth-playing Indian Laurel fingerboard loaded with 22 Medium-jumbo frets. The Epiphone's ‘60s-style SlimTaper neck profile is thinner than its '50s-style predecessor’s and makes for a smoother, more comfortable playing experience. The Epiphone SG Special lightweight build makes it ideal for playing over long periods and supportive of energetic physical performances. It also features a lightning bolt wraparound bridge and ivory-buttoned tuners that help to provide modern performance standards while maintaining vintage appeal. Highly versatile, P-90 Pro pickups are brighter, leaner and a little more raucous than humbuckers and create their own brand of gritty heat.
