Marcus Miller and Sire have been on a mission for the past several years to build the best quality bass at an unbelievable price, making it available to everyone. The result is a new line of Marcus Miller bass models that have an amazing sound, fantastic new look, and are high quality but with an extraordinary low price. Marcus Miller Modern bass type: With both classic and modern feel and design, this new bass can produce the desired sound for all genres of music from soft to even strong metal grunge. For an added special touch of detail, the truss rod cover and black plate is also made with real wood for a premium look and feel. Marcus Miller is known for his musical perfectionism, and he has done the same with this bass. The modern shaped Indonesian mahogany body has two deep cutouts for easy access to higher positions. The mahogany is highly resonant, providing balanced highs, mids and lows, so it gets along great with inch playing technique (slap). The Canadian maple neck and rosewood fingerboard are complemented by a faux bone fretboard zero, the fingerboard edges are now rounded for a more comfortable grip, and the fingerboard radius has been flattened. The tuning machines and the steel fingerboard are finished in black. The tailpiece allows the strings to be pulled through the body for a tighter and more stable tone.
